　　Song Jiale has wanted to transition into a girl since she was six years old to achieve a sense of unity between her mind and body. At 14, she left her village to seek opportunities elsewhere, working as a waitress and selling pot-stewed meat dish. The hustle and bustle of the big city failed to alleviate her anxiety and distress. Over the past three years, she has traveled back and forth between Shanghai and her hometown multiple times to prepare the necessary documents for the surgery and persuade her family. However, her father and relatives could not accept it. After much internal struggle, Song Jiale firmly decided to undergo the surgery. At the hospital, she met friends who were going through the same process, and they supported each other through the transformation. But upon returning home after discharge, she faced her family's abuse and criticism. Her family's lack of understanding and the path ahead may become her new source of anxiety.
