The Minotaur is a retelling of the Greek myth about a half man / half bull who is imprisoned in a labyrinth by King Minos. The film is made from 35mm slides found on eBay, each with a drawing scratched into the surface. Employing 2,500 drawings, The Minotaur took 10 months to make—having gone through several early forms including as a computer game and a clumsy animation made solely from mosaics. Music written and performed by Stephen Crowe.
