Jesús, a local young man, turns to Doña Ninfa to undergo a spiritual cleansing. Doña Ninfa is a fraudulent healer who performs rituals in a town that is itself alive a place that metes out justice against those who seek to profit through deception. During the ritual, the scene is terrorized by a light resembling a living entity that attempts to force its way into the house.
